Yesterday I was on my routine to office in the morning. As usual I was gazing thru the Newspaper in the train .While so my neighbour was reading some interesting news on the front page.In a flash I was rather pulled by the back page of his newspaper , an interesting news about monkey. When my neighbor was counting the letters in the front page that two minutes was enough for me to gaze this news. When I returned home I wanted to read it again in epaper and just ploughed through the net and got the very interesting news on the net.Luckily there was an IBN video also featuring this clip.
Iam very much elated to see the video and the sparkling news. The clever monkey how it manages the work force with him , and binds them togther are greater than the human management philosophy. It is mentioned that if any body stares at the monkey for a fairly longer time the monkey suspects that his children[goats] are going to be kidnapped and as a defence it pounces on the visitor who stares at his boys.Wah! The manager monkey taking care of his subordinates is not to be ridiculed and proved that the animal brain is on par with the human mind
Next time never scold your children "Nee Adu MeikkaththAn LAyakku" [You are fit for sheperd job only].Managing hundred goats is no joke.
Pallakad (Kerala): Compare him to the goats and he may look small, but Mani the monkey, shepherds nearly 100 goats in Nelliyampathy, Palakkad. The goat's ear is how he controls them. He makes the goats turn right or left by tugging gently at their ear. And he attacks anyone who ventures near the goats.
Manager Greenland Farmhouse, P J Martin says, "I got this monkey three years ago, bleeding all over. I applied medicine and left it with the goats. Afterwards he was always with the goats. He does all works as a man does it."
Three-year-old Mani effortlessly shepherds the goats through the coffee plantations. He even eats his food sitting on top of a goat. The tourists who visit the farmhouse watch Mani with awe.
A tourist, S Snehalatha says, "We came here on a holiday and heard about this monkey that is a shepherd. We have been watching him for the past few minutes and he seems to do his job better than a man would."
And you're in trouble if Mani catches you watching the goats. But then again, he's got a job to do.
