The Propane Gas Disaster-
 A nerve Wrecking Explosion

When I was working in Oman for a Petroleum refining company we had extensive training on safety.The petroleum companies take extreme care on safety of operations and it is a glowing culure of this sector of insustry.Employees health, safety all are ensured as their philosophy is "a healthy and happy working  all around at the same time meeting the set tagets by round the clock working also.The trainings are refreshed again after one year so that the people will not forget small small details.Thanks to the British culture without which such safety things are not enforced.

In October 2007, in U.S , a major disaster in a propane gas factory at Takoma called  "ATLAS FOUNDRY "was reported..You can see the catastrophy of the factory and the terror it has created on the minds and hearts  of the people around.The fire ball seen part 2 reminds me of the Pokran explosion some years ago.The imporance of safety and professionals are the basic HR philosophy and the dedication and brave heart of the working people in these areas should be applaused. Also there is a progresive deterioration in healh of the employees becuase of the polluted environment.That is why these companies offer the best food and of high nutritive value to the employees.

Inspite of all these how such an accident can happen? A top level review is not only made in US alone and lot of video conferencing are conducted free and frank to dig out the safety violation and coorect themselves at all places wherver tsuch operations are carried out.These exchange of ideas have helped the oil field segment to improve on their operation style.

                            Lead us on  the knowledge of safety
